Virginia Caples Lifelong Learning Institute Fall 2021 Courses & Activities
The primary goal of this class is to prepare older adults to make informed food safety decisions. Lessons are: Learning Major Pathogens, Taking Care: Handling and Preparing Food Safety, Transporting Your Groceries, Food Product Dating, and Food Safety during Power Outage.

Brief Bio of Presenter:
Dr. Terence Martin is a food scientist with over 20 years of food safety and quality assurance experience. He is currently serving as the Family Life Center director and previously served as the Urban Expanded Food and Nutrition Program coordinator with the Alabama Cooperative Extension System at AAMU.
