The AAMU Family and the public are invited to join AAMU Extension staff and Huntsville’s Operation Green Team as they observe Earth Day 2023. Come and engage in free earth- and family-friendly activities on Saturday, April 22, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hays Nature Preserve, 7161 Hays Preserve Trail SE in Huntsville. Enjoy informative and interactive displays by AAMU Extension and other exhibitors, as well as activities that include live music, concessions, face paintings, and vegetable plant and other giveaways while supplies last.
Parking is limited at Hays Preserve, but attendees can park at the Mark Russell Recreation Center (429 Taylor Road) and be shuttled over to the festivities.
