The Alabama Cooperative Extension System at Alabama A&M University is gearing up for the next round of Successful Aging Initiative (SAI) Conferences in October. These events will mark the return to indoor conferences.
The SAI Conference is traditionally a free one-day event for older adults, their families, caregivers, and local service providers. These conferences are open to the public and designed to address issues impacting Alabama’s older adults. Conference attendees learn how to make informed decisions, maintain independence, be active members of society, and improve their quality of life. In addition, guest speakers and hands-on presentations work collectively to celebrate aging.
Admission is free and lunch is provided.
