About the College
The College of Business and Public Affairs is organized into three departments, each headed by a department chair:
Accreditation
The business programs (BS and MBA) of the College of Business and Public Affairs at Alabama A&M University are accredited by the top most business accrediting body of the world, AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.
We are the only HBCU in the state of Alabama among 901 business schools (5%) worldwide to have earned the AACSB International accreditation, a recognition of excellence in the business area. Only about 25% U.S. business programs are AACSB accredited. This accreditation is reaffirmed every five years under the current standards. The standards “are founded on diverse perspectives, a global mindset, and a commitment to making a difference”.

Graduate Degrees
The College offers the Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) at two locations: Huntsville Campus and Lawson State Campus.
It also offers the Master degree in Public Administration (MPA), effective Spring 2022.
