Alabama A&M University has established email as a primary vehicle for official communication with students, faculty, and staff. An official email address is established and assigned by Information Technology Services (ITS) for each student, and current faculty and staff members. All University communications sent via email will be sent to this address.
"Bulldog" emails are hosted by Google, and have all the same features as a standard GMail account, but with an @bulldogs.aamu.edu address. Students are automatically assigned an official Bulldogs email address after they are officially accepted to the University.
FACULTY & STAFF
Official email accounts for Faculty and Staff are now powered by Office 365, hosted securely in "the cloud", and administered and supported by ITS. Microsoft Outlook 365 is the standard email application used with this system.
