The Office of Marketing & Public Relations is ultimately responsible for the institution’s brand and communication strategies to and between its internal and external constituents. Marketing & Public Relations work to promote the phenomenal accomplishments of Alabama A&M students, faculty, staff, and alumni to an array of diverse audiences. These audiences include: media, alumni, community leaders, and more.
Marketing & Public Relations engages its constituents in a number of ways. In social media, AAMU has tens of thousands of followers/friends on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Also, the University’s Start Here, Go Anywhere Campaign is visible on billboards throughout the state of Alabama, along with print, radio, and/or television commercials regionally and nationally.
