About the College
The College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences is organized into three departments, each headed by a department chair:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
- Mechanical and Civil Engineering and Construction Management
Programs
Undergraduate degrees are offered in civil engineering (BSCE), electrical engineering (BSEE), mechanical engineering (BSME), construction management (BS), computer science (BSCS). Graduate degrees are offered in computer science (MS), materiel engineering (MEng), Mechanical Engineering (MS), and Electrical Engineering (MS). In collaboration with the College of Education, the College of Engineering, Technology and Physical Sciences offers a variety of certified and non-certified teaching programs and the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The Physics program is ranked among the top ten nationally in the awarding of graduate degrees to African Americans.
