Title IX for Students
In an effort to further advance you beyond the classroom, Alabama A&M University (AAMU) has partnered with Everfi whose mission is to help students address critical life skills such as alcohol abuse prevention, sexual assault prevention, and financial literacy, in high schools and higher education institutions across the country.
As part of a campus-wide comprehensive prevention program, AAMU expects you to complete all applicable online training. Courses are designed to help you develop the critical skills to make more thoughtful choices outside the classroom, and will empower you to make well-informed social decisions that affect your college years and beyond. Our hope is that with these skills you will find greater success both here at Alabama A&M University and well beyond graduation.
For more information on the University’s Title IX process, please view Life on the Hill, the Student Handbook or contact Tanisha Smith, Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Students at tanisha.smith@aamu.edu.
