On AAMU’s campus, bulldog pride is generational. Our students are among the best in the nation and take great pride in maintaining the integrity of the university and the student body. And even after they’ve left the campus, they are always aware of what it means to be a bulldog.
So how can you adopt the principles of bulldog pride? Easy. Start by reading our 10 Points of Pride below. Carry them with you, and let your actions, on and off campus, be a reflection of them.

Don’t try to imitate others. Be a proud AAMU bulldog. Wear your AAMU shirts and paraphernalia with pride, especially to games and campus events.

Service is sovereignty: do something to promote your university. Volunteer to help a struggling student. Participate in cleanup days, fundraising events, and support sport teams, whether they are winning or losing.

If you are not sure, ask someone. You have the right to speak on issues. But remember to protect your university from outsiders who do not have your best interest at heart.
