Plant molecular genetics and breeding for bioenergy crops (Miscanthus, sorghum, and energy cane) and other crops (industrial hemp, barley, dry bean, winter canola). Identification of molecular markers and candidate genes for important agronomic traits, such as yield, adaptation, abiotic stress (drought and cold) tolerance and etc. UAV-based high throughput phenotyping for crop field trials. Integration of “omics” approaches for solutions to sustainable agriculture.
