Alabama A&M University is closely monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). There are no confirmed cases on Alabama A&M University's campus at this time. Our current level of public health risk remains low. However, Alabama A&M is preparing for the possibility of a localized outbreak. As a proactive measure, we are requesting that you update us on your travel plans beyond the Huntsville-Metro Area by completing the COVID-19 Self-Monitoring Form

Any faculty or staff member experiencing stress or concern about family members in areas impacted by COVID-19 can visit the Student Health and Counseling Center.

Faculty and Staff returning from a high-risk region/city within the past or next 14 days and is sick (or around family and/or friends) with fever and a cough, or difficulty breathing, should seek medical care immediately by contacting your personal physician.  Call ahead to inform them of recent travel and symptoms. You may not return to campus without clearance from your physician.  Remain in contact with your supervisor by phone and/or email.
