Our Mission
The Business Process Improvement team strengthens the operational effectiveness of the Division of Business & Finance by improving systems, workflows, and data accessibility. Through collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement, we support efficient, transparent operations that advance Alabama A&M University’s mission of excellence in teaching, research, and service.
Core Focus Areas
- System Issue Resolution
Investigating and resolving functional issues related to Banner and other financial systems. - Reporting & Data Access
Supporting the development and improvement of reports that help departments access accuratefinancial and operational data. - Process Documentation
Creating clear documentation for financial and administrative processes to ensure consistency and continuity. - Workflow Improvement
Identifying inefficiencies in current processes and designing improved workflows that reduce manual work and errors. - Training & Support
Helping departments better understand systems and processes so they can work more effectively.
