Writing tutors consult with students, offering feedback and suggestions for their writing tasks.  Tutors also research and create writing resources, conduct class visits to promote writing resources and assist with writing workshops/presentations. To be eligible, applicants must: exhibit strong interpersonal skills, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, successfully complete (with an A or B) both sections of Freshman Composition and demonstrate above average ability in any subsequent writing courses.
