How to Edit Workshop

Sometimes we're tempted to edit at the beginning of the writing process, but that can get us into trouble. Editing too early can stagnate our thought processes and keep you from saying enough. However, not editing at all can prevent your ideas from coming across clearly and often results in poorly written final drafts. Once you've come to the end of your writing process, it's time to take a hard look at the words on the page. Do they make sense? Is your message coming across clearly to your reader?
