How to Read Difficult Texts

Maybe you liked to read when you were a kid, but now that you're in college, reading isn't fun anymore! That's because what you're given to read was not written with you in mind! Journal articles and scholarly texts can be difficult to read if you don't have a strategy.

In this workshop we'll show you how to get into the "mind" of the author so you can better grasp what's been written. And we'll give you a strategy you can use to make sense of it.
