Scholarship Deadline: Thursday, October 03, 2019
Scholarship Award: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.
Eligibility Requirements: The basic requirements: (1) must be 25 years old (or younger), and (2) must be a current or former high school student who will attend or is attending college within the U.S. or its territories.
Essay Topic: Write a poem about your modern interpretation of a traditional myth or urban legend
AES Engineering Scholarship Program
Scholarship Deadline: Sunday, October 6, 2019
Scholarship Award: $500 annually, non-renewable.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be a high school senior or currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student at time of application.
Essay Topic: When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey?
The "Branson Shows Inspired Scholarship"
Scholarship Deadline: Tuesday, October 15, 2019
Scholarship Award: One annual scholarship will be awarded as a one-time grant in the amount of $1,000 to the winning essay recipient or academic institution.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be 16 to 19 years of age and currently enrolled at any accredited educational institution or program of higher learning.
Essay Topic: The essay topic for our annual scholarship is, “How (*Enter Your Show*) Inspired Me to Realize My Dreams.”
Scholarship Deadline: Thursday, October 31, 2019
Scholarship Award: Scholarships are awarded as follows: first place, $2,500; second place, $2,000; third place, $1,000. Awards are non-renewable.
Eligibility Requirements: Must be a graduating senior in high school or currently enrolled in an undergraduate program for the current school year.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Must be involved in a community service effort/volunteer opportunity where you work with the elderly or participated in caregiving duties for an elderly relative within the last 12 months.
Essay Topic: Write a 500-1,000 word essay that answers the following three questions:
- What is the most important lesson you’ve learned from the senior(s) you work with?
- How has working with seniors impacted your life/inspired you?
- How would you encourage others to spend more time with their grandparents or seniors in the community?
Scholarship Award: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicant must be a currently enrolled, full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college or university within the United States
Essay Topic: Please write a 500 - 1,000 word essay answering the question “Can gold go to $2000 or higher following the next stock market crash?”
