Scholarships
NSF-RISE project housed in the Physics Department has two positions available for physics majors. Selected students will be paid a stipend in Fall and Spring semesters. Students will gain experience by conducting research with the team members in the laboratory.

- US Citizenship/Permanent Residency
- If Physics majors are not available then other STEM majors are considered.

Physics program has four positions available for graduate students in the NSF-RISE project. Selected students will be paid a stipend of $1500 per month plus tuition assistance. The students are required to pursue their dissertation work on one of the three research projects:
- Nano Structures in Glasses
- Semiconductor Thermoelectric Thin Films
- Piezoelectric Nanocomposites

Requirements:
- US Citizenship/Permanent Residency
- ii. GPA of 3.0* or above
*If the academic preparation is good then the GPA requirement can be reduced slightly. - Students majored in any of the STEM disciplines are encouraged to apply.
