Thurgood Marshall College Fund
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) is a non-profit organization in the United States that focuses on supporting and representing students attending historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). The fund is named after Thurgood Marshall, who was the first African American Supreme Court Justice and a prominent figure in the legal battles for civil rights.
TMCF provides scholarships, programmatic and capacity-building support to HBCUs, and facilitates internships, mentorships, and leadership development programs for students. The organization aims to ensure that students at HBCUs have access to quality education and opportunities for success. TMCF also works to strengthen the financial stability and infrastructure of the member institutions it serves. It collaborates with corporations, foundations, and government agencies to secure resources and support for its initiatives.
Mrs. Carla Draper Holloway serves as Alabama A&M University's Campus Coordinator for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
