Proctoring Services
The Alabama A&M University Testing Services Center provides secure, professional proctoring services for Alabama A&M University students, faculty, and students attending other colleges and universities. Our testing environment is designed to promote academic integrity while providing a comfortable, accessible, and distraction-reduced testing experience.
AAMU Faculty
Faculty may request proctoring services for:

Request a Proctored Exam
Faculty should submit all testing requests through RegisterBlast.
Faculty are responsible for:

Creating and maintaining examination content

Providing testing instructions
-
Indicating approved testing materials

Maintaining student scores
The Testing Services Center is responsible for:

Scheduling appointments

Verifying student identity

Providing a secure testing environment

Proctoring examinations

Returning completed exams according to departmental instructions
Please submit requests at least three (3) business days before the requested testing date.

Alabama A&M University Students
Need to take an exam with an approved proctor outside of the Huntsville area?
Through the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Network, Alabama A&M students may request approval to test at another college or university.
Before Scheduling

Locate an approved testing center through the NCTA Network.

Complete the AAMU Proctor Approval Form.

Email the completed form to eleese.rawlins@aamu.edu .

The proposed testing site will be reviewed and approved before testing is authorized.
Please allow sufficient time for the approval process before your testing deadline.
Non-AAMU Students
Students enrolled at another college or university may schedule a proctored examination at Alabama A&M University.

Scheduling Your Exam
Schedule your appointment through RegisterBlast.
Your college, university, or testing organization must send the following directly to the Testing Services Center:

Passwords or access codes (if applicable)

Any required proctor verification forms

Proctoring Fee
The fee for non-AAMU proctoring services is $38.00 for examinations up to three hours.
Testing Day Information
All examinees must:

Present a valid government-issued photo ID.
-
Arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

Store all personal belongings in the secure lockers provided.

Follow Alabama A&M University Testing Services Center policies as well as the policies established by their home institution.
Electronic devices, including cell phones and smartwatches, are prohibited unless specifically authorized.
Frequently Asked Questions
How early should I schedule my exam?
Please schedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Additional time may be required if your institution must submit testing materials.
What if my school has not sent my exam?
Your exam cannot be administered until all required testing materials and instructions have been received.
What forms of identification are accepted?
A valid government-issued photo ID is required. A second form of identification is recommended.
Can I bring my phone, smartwatch, or backpack?
No. All personal belongings must be stored in secure lockers before testing.
Can I use notes or a calculator?
Only if your instructor or testing institution has specifically authorized these materials.
What happens if I arrive late?
Students arriving more than 15 minutes after their scheduled appointment may be required to reschedule.
