New Student Information

Congratulations, and welcome to Alabama Agricultural & Mechanical University (AAMU) for the 2024-2025 academic year!

Fall Semester

For the 2024-2025 academic year, Mamie L. Foster Living/Learning Complex and Ernest L. Knight Living and Learning Complex will offer a non-traditional option for its freshman male and female students.  Traditional housing options for freshman male and female residents will include the following:

 

• Females: Councill Hall | Terry Hall | Thigpen Hall | Palmer Hall | Hopkins Hall
• Males: Morris and Stephens Hall will be closed for renovations for the 24/25 academic year.

 

Applications for the 2024-2025 academic year will open at 9:00 am on May 14, 2024 and will close on July 31, 2024, at 11:59 pm (CST), for First-Year Students or until we reach capacity. For new students to apply for housing, they must meet the following criteria.

1. You must be accepted to Alabama A&M University before applying for
2. You need a 2024-2025 FAFSA on file with Financial Aid before applying for housing.
3. You need to pay the Enrollment Fee of $115 before applying for housing.
4. A $150.00 housing fee is required to complete the application process.
5. Go to myAAMU, and click on the Single Sign-On (SSO) Account Log-In. Look for the Student tab and click the link. Under the Student tab look for the Housing Application link, click on it, and Apply.
