Master of Science in Counseling

The Master of Science in Counseling degree program provides opportunities to acquire knowledge in counseling and assessment skills to assist people in solving problems of living in a multicultural global society. Knowledge and skills are developed in the areas of human growth and development, social and cultural issues, group dynamics, career development, individual assessment and appraisal, research and evaluation, and disability concerns. The Rehabilitation Counseling concentration prepares its graduates to be professional practitioners working with the blind, the deaf, or with people in need in other areas.
