Master of Science in Kinesiology

The Master of Science (M.S.) in Kinesiology program has three options toward the degree: Applied Sport Science (non-teaching), Class A Teacher Certification, or Alternative 5th-year Class A Teacher Certification.

We emphasize integrating technology in the applied sport sciences and the teaching of physical education while striving for students to complete their programs within 4-6 semesters.  For successful matriculation through the program, students must maintain a 3.00 or higher cumulative GPA.

Our faculty provide learning experiences that prepare students for teaching positions in physical education, or a broad array of careers beyond teaching.
