Minor in Fisheries
For Forestry majors, or closely related Majors in Biology or Environmental Science, the Fish and Wildlife Concentration is intended to provide students that already have sufficient credits in Biology and Plant Science courses with the training to immediately apply for careers as wildlife biologists, fisheries biologists or wildlife refuge managers with the federal government. The Concentration also provides the principle courses that can be further developed into a Fish and Wildlife Major with the addition of another five courses (such as Principles of Wetlands, Ecology, etc.) in this scientific and management discipline.
