AAMU Student Entry Named Top 10 Finalist in 'A Different World’ Challenge

Just in time for the premier of the sequel series of A Different World, a team of Alabama A&M University students have earned Top 10 finalist recognition in a national challenge presented by HBCU Buzz and Netflix. Now the Bulldog community can help take the Alabama A&M themed video to the top.

The A Different World Challenge invited HBCU students to creatively showcase campus culture, traditions, friendships, and experiences inspired by the iconic TV show. AAMU’s entry, created by Crew 75 in collaboration with Student Publications, reimagines the iconic A Different World opening through a Bulldog lens. Built around the question, “What happens when the campus bell rings after hours?”

The AAMU was selected as a Top 10 HBCU finalist. Now, students, alumni, faculty, staff and Bulldog supporters everywhere are encouraged to rally VOTES DAILY to bring home the win.

Voting is open through September 30 at 11:59 p.m., and supporters may cast one vote each day.
