Vulcan's The YARD Showcases AAMU's "Dream Space"

The students at Alabama A&M University are reaping a technological dream come true, thanks to a project made possible by Vulcan Materials Company and its visionary The YARD initiative.  A virtual ribbon cutting to showcase the “Dream Space,” conveniently located in AAMU’s Learning Resources Center, was held Thursday, August 27.  Now that special event has been fully captured and is now available on YouTube or https://youtu.be/obApCXpw7Cc.

Through The YARD initiative, AAMU’s popular “Start Here, Go Anywhere” slogan is strongly supported by an investment by the initiative of a “Dream Space” that includes Apple TVs, iPads, multiple monitors with camera systems, ideation resource tools and eco-furniture.   The equipment set-ups allow students ways to achieve collaborative learning.
