Distance Ed Offering Faculty Workshop
All STEM Faculty Urged to Participate
A faculty workshop at Alabama A&M University on “Flipped Learning-Part 1” will be offered by the Office of Distance Education, Extended Studies and Instructional Technology on Thursday, April 8, from 12:30-1:15 p.m. via Zoom.
Distance Education staff members are urging all science, technology, engineering and mathematics faculty to participate in the 45-minute session titled “Expanding eLearning in STEM.” Flipped Learning is a pedagogical approach in which direct instruction moves from the group learning space to the individual learning space, and the resulting group space is transformed into a dynamic, interactive learning environment where the educator guides students as they apply concepts and engage creatively in the subject matter.
