AAMU, Apple Plan Kickoff for Virtual Initiative
Bringing Ideas to Life
Alabama A&M University faculty and representatives from Apple have announced Thursday, October 14, as the date for the virtual kickoff of the Apple New Silicon Initiative Program at 12:15 p.m. via a Zoom webinar. Interested faculty and staff will receive an e-mail with the webinar following their registration.
AAMU electrical engineering and computer science faculty members say the joint initiative in hardware education will offer attendees an opportunity to learn “what’s possible in silicon engineering.” Information also will be provided about scholarships and classes designed “to bring ideas to life.”
Following the presentation, breakout sessions will be held with AAMU electrical engineering and computer science faculty, and Apple, along with a question-and-answer session and discussion.
