Director Panelist for AAC&U
Proven Strategies for Collaborative Assessment
The Director of Alabama A&M University’s Office of Institutional Planning, Research and Evaluation will serve as panelist for an informative 3 p.m. (ET) webinar in mid-August.
Dr. James T. Walke will join a one-hour webinar on “Best Practices for Collaborative Assessment” on Thursday, August 18, sponsored by the Association of American Colleges and Universities. He will be joined by panelist Erin Lynch, associate provost of scholarship, research and innovation at Winston-Salem State University.
The webinar will highlight proven strategies for collaborative assessment. Walke and Lynch will discuss best practices for managing and assessing a robust general education program and how working “across the aisle”—between faculty and administrators, between academic programs, between academic and student affairs—can help to promote student retention and, ultimately, graduation.
