AAMU Professor AAS Fellow

A professor of physics and former dean at Alabama A&M University has been selected as a Fellow of the Alabama Academy of Science for the year 2022.  

Dr. Matthew Edwards was selected based on his noteworthy contributions to the organization “by bringing name and fame to the academy by keeping the highest academic and professional standards.”

AAS will present the award to Edwards at the Ninety-ninth Joint Senior and Junior Alabama Academy of Science Banquet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 17, on the campus of Athens State University in Athens, Alabama.
