Baby Bulldogs Take Part in Back-to-School Parade
Bringing Cheer to the Northwest
During the days preceding the busy hustle and bustle of back-to-school clamor, Alabama A&M University Baby Bulldog Cheerleaders, along with coordinator Mary Jones Moore and team, were working to bring cheer to an annual event in Huntsville's northwest quandrant. PHOTOS
The Baby Bulldogs were among several organizations, businesses, churches, government agencies that lined up to participate in the yearly North Huntsville Celebrating Education Back to School Parade & Festival, held Saturday, August 3. The lineup was set in the parking lot of Dollar General Market on Blue Spring Road in Huntsville, Ala.
In addition to the excitement from the cheerleaders, parade viewers were invited to continued festivities at Mae Jemison High School, where event organizers set up a Battle of the Bands, Dance Off, Slam Dunk Contest & 3 Point Shoot Out, Water Slides & Inflatables, Rock Wall, Face Painting & Animal Balloons, Hula Hoop Contest, Dunking Booth for District 1 Elected Officials and other activities.
