Open House, Softball, Baseball, Car Show, Football Events Scheduled

A Saturday filled with exciting events on The Hill is scheduled for April 6. Activities include Open House, baseball and softball games at the AAMU complex, the Cruising at Crews Car & Bike Show, the AAMU Football Maroon and White Spring Game at Louis Crews Stadium, and more. 

Festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. with the 2024 Alabama A&M University Open House held at the Event Center. Registration remains open for individuals and groups HERE. Open House includes onsite acceptance; campus tours and scholarship information; AAMU Band and Choir auditions and will include lunch for attendees. Representatives from AAMU Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarships, Housing Freshman Academy, Student Accounts, academic colleges and departments and more will be on hand to engage with students and families.

The 3rd Annual Cruising at Crews Car & Bike Show starts at 11:00 a.m. at the Event Center lot. Judging begins at 1:00 p.m. with awards presentations set for 5:00 p.m. Registration ($25 entry fee per vehicle) remains open HERE for the show. 

Big Maroon Saturday, which is also National Student-Athlete Day, will include several exciting AAMU Athletics events. Bulldogs sports action starts with Softball taking on Mississippi Valley in a SWAC double-header at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. AAMU Baseball will also host MVSU at 2:00 p.m. The Maroon and White AAMU Football Spring Game begins at 4:00 p.m. inside Louis Crews Stadium.

11:00 a.m.: Check out the rides at the Cruising at Crews Car & Bike Show 
12:00 p.m.: Cheer on AAMU Softball vs. Mississippi Valley 
2:00 p.m.: Catch AAMU Baseball vs. Mississippi Valley 
4:00 p.m.: Get a First Look at 2024 AAMU Football at the Maroon & White Spring Game
