Interactive Event Showcases Agriculture, Innovation and Opportunity
AAMU College of Agricultural, Life and Natural Sciences to Host 2026 Ag Day
The Alabama A&M University College of Agricultural, Life and Natural Sciences (CALNS) will bring agriculture, education and innovation to the Quad during its annual Ag Day on Friday, Sept. 18, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Open to the public, the interactive campus event will showcase the many ways agriculture connects science, technology, natural resources, design and career opportunities while highlighting the college’s academic programs, research and student organizations.
Attendees will have opportunities to engage with CALNS students, faculty and programs, learn about graduate study and explore career pathways and resources in agriculture and related fields.
The event also reflects Alabama A&M’s historic 1890 land-grant mission of advancing education, research and outreach to serve communities.
Ag Day will feature music from a student DJ, registered student organizations and animal displays featuring goats and rabbits from AAMU’s Winfred Thomas Agricultural Research Station (WTARS).
Students, prospective students, families and community members are invited to spend the afternoon on the Quad, connect with the CALNS community and experience firsthand the opportunities, innovation and impact shaping the future of agriculture at Alabama A&M.
