Jordan Claims National Title in EA SPORTS College Football 26

Alabama A&M University senior Jaeveon Jordan has earned national recognition after winning the Rally Cry National Championship Series for EA SPORTS College Football 26, emerging as the top collegiate player in the country during the 2025 season.

The accounting major from Washington, D.C., competed as an individual player representing Alabama A&M throughout the eight-week, fully online Rally Cry season, which began Sept. 20 and concluded with the national championship on Dec. 14, 2025. He finished the season with an impressive 22–2 overall record, including regular-season play, playoffs and the double-elimination national championship bracket.

The Rally Cry Championship Series features elite collegiate gamers from across the country. Competitors qualified through a 12-week performance-based season and conference championships in leagues such as the National Esports Collegiate Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference. From that field, the top eight players were selected to compete for the national title. Jordan faced opponents from HBCUs and non-HBCU institutions, in a bracket designed to test consistency and resilience at the highest level.

“Going 22–2 over a 12-week season and winning a double-elimination national championship against the top eight collegiate players in the country is something I’m extremely proud of,” said Jordan. “It represents consistency, preparation and resilience at the highest level of collegiate esports.”

Jordan’s national championship adds to an already decorated esports career at Alabama A&M. He is a three-time SWAC Esports champion and a two-time Magic City Classic Esports champion, establishing himself as one of the most accomplished collegiate esports competitors in the program’s history.

“Being a three-time SWAC champion and a two-time Magic City Classic champion made this national title even more meaningful,” he said.

Although the Rally Cry championship included a cash prize, Jordan currently competes without an esports scholarship. He said he hopes his sustained conference and national success will open the door for future scholarship opportunities tied to esports performance.

Jordan’s accomplishment was celebrated on campus when Alabama A&M Athletic Director Dr. Paul A. Bryant recognized him during the women’s basketball game against the University of North Alabama on Dec. 17, 2025, highlighting his national championship achievement in front of the Bulldog community.

Jordan’s national success also reflects the continued growth of Alabama A&M’s Bulldog E-Sports program. Formed two years ago, the team will host recruiting tournaments this spring as it prepares to send members to the 2026 SWAC Championships.

With his national title secured and his senior year underway, Jordan continues to represent Alabama A&M University on the national esports stage, demonstrating excellence, discipline and competitive spirit at the highest level of collegiate gaming.

“This win reflects years of work and the standard we’re building at Alabama A&M University. Being blessed with the ability to perform at a high level throughout the years has truly changed my life.”
