AAMU CEIED Invites Local Businesses to Minority Business Virtual Webinar
AAMU’s Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Development (CEIED) in partnership with the national Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) invite local businesses to the virtual webinar: Doing Business with MBDA on Wednesday, February 21 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. CST.
The MBDA is an agency in the United States Department of Commerce that promotes growth and competitiveness of minority-owned businesses, including Hispanic and Latino American, Asian Pacific American, African American and Native American Businesses.
This webinar will provide local businesses with the knowledge and tools to make informed decisions, including understanding marketing trends, accessing capital, analyzing financial data, negotiating contracts and evaluating different business strategies.
Representatives from MBDA’s Leadership Team will help minority business enterprises use the agency’s tools and resources.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for our regional businesses to take advantage of resources they may not be aware of,” says Professor and CEIED Executive Director Dr. Teresa Merriweather Orok.
