Lt. Gen. Robert A. Rasch, Jr. to Address Cadets

Alabama A&M University ROTC invites you to an unforgettable evening of elegance and honor at its 2024 Military Ball Celebrating the Bulldog Battalion.

The Military Ball is Saturday, April 13, from 6:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at the AAMU Event Center. 

Lieutenant General Robert A. Rasch, Jr., Director of Hypersonics, Directed Energy, Space and Rapid Acquisition, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology) at Redstone Arsenal is the esteemed guest speaker.

Rasch previously served as Program Executive Officer (PEO), Missiles and Space, at Redstone Arsenal, where he was responsible for the development, production, fielding, sustainment, and international program aspects for assigned missile and space systems. Rasch also served as the Military Deputy to the Commanding General of the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Redstone Arsenal, and was Chief of Staff to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics and Technology in Washington D.C.

Rasch entered the Army through the University of Georgia ROTC Program in 1989 where he was commissioned as an Infantry Second Lieutenant. He graduated Georgia with a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) in Management Information Systems. He later received a Master of Science in Computer Science from Northwestern University and a Master of Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.

The Alabama A&M University ROTC program hosts the Military Ball every year to recognize and honor its cadets prior to their commissioning as Army officers.
