ACES Lunch and Learn Session Focuses on Volunteering
Becoming a VIP
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System’s Urban Extension will hold a session in its 2019 More in Our Cities Lunch & Learn series on Thursday, August 22, at 12 noon in 225 Dawson Building on the Alabama A&M University campus. The session will highlight the “Benefits of Becoming a VIP.”
The session will be geared toward urging community-oriented, “people” persons to consider becoming a Volunteer in Urban Programs (or VIP) at AAMU. Interested men and women will receive information on expanding the role of volunteerism by matching their available time, interests and skills to impact Extension activities.
