2025 Miss Alabama A&M University Pageant Set for April 4

As Alabama A&M University marks its historic 150th Anniversary, the institution is set to make history in more ways than one. On Friday, April 4, at 6:30 p.m. in the Knight Center Ballroom, the University will host the highly anticipated 2025 – 2026 Miss Alabama A&M University Pageant – an event steeped in tradition, leadership, and excellence.

This year, the pageant will also break new ground, as the University crowns its first-ever Mister Alabama A&M University. The event will also mark another milestone – the crowning of the 75th Miss Alabama A&M University, further underscoring the institution’s rich legacy during its 150th Anniversary celebration.

The Board of Trustees recently approved the decision to introduce Mr. AAMU, recognizing the need for a male student ambassador to serve alongside Miss AAMU in representing the University's values, mission, and student body. This milestone reflects University’s commitment to inclusivity, leadership, and the evolving role of student representation.

Organized by the Office of Student Activities & Leadership Development, the 2025 pageant is themed “A Legacy of Timeless Tradition.” The evening will showcase the poise, intellect, and talent of student leaders competing for the prestigious titles of Miss and Mister Alabama A&M University.

Candidates for Miss AAMU will participate in multiple competition phases, demonstrating their grace, public speaking skills, and commitment to service. Meanwhile, the Mister AAMU candidates will share their vision for the role and how they plan to serve as a campus leader. The evening will also feature a special showcase of Class Queen candidates, highlighting their contributions to student life.

With three students vying for the title of Miss AAMU, two candidates competing for the inaugural title of Mister AAMU, and eight students contending for Class Queen, the event promises an exciting display of Bulldog spirit and pride.

Students who aspire to these leadership roles undergo a rigorous selection process, including meeting academic and leadership requirements and securing letters of recommendation. Campaigning officially begins on March 31, allowing students to rally support ahead of the vote.

On April 4, student body voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., contributing to the final decision alongside scores from a panel of judges. Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the event, with the official coronation for Miss and Mister AAMU scheduled for the Fall semester. This event is free for students. Tickets are $10 for the general public.
