A new Alabama A&M billboard campaign highlights the Marching Maroon and White band ahead of its performance at the 2025 Honda Battle of the Bands at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. Recently launched along the Inglewood’s high-traffic Manchester Blvd, multiple signs feature a bold image announcing AAMU’s arrival in SoCal and invites passersby to “explore Alabama’s largest HBCU.”
The Alabama A&M University Marching Maroon and White Band is one of six bands set to perform Saturday, February 1 at 1:00 p.m. PST (3:00 p.m. CST) in the event’s first-ever West Coast activation.
Known as the nation’s premier showcase for HBCU marching bands, the Honda Battle of the Bands continues to evolve into a platform built for an by the HBCU community. Known as the marching band homecoming event of the year, it has hosted some of the greatest performances and moments in HBCU battle of the bands history.
THE STARS ARE OUT
GRAMMY-nominated recording artist GloRilla will perform as the closing act at this
year’s event which will be hosted by ‘Drumline” star Nick Cannon.
