$2.2 Billion in USDA Funding to Help Farmers Impacted by Discrimination
Alabama Extension at AAMU to Host USDA Financial Assistance Workshop for Farmers
The Alabama Cooperative Extension System at Alabama A&M University and USDA selected vendor The Windsor Group LLC, will host a free USDA Financial Assistance Workshop for Farmers on Friday, December 15 at 2:00 p.m. in the James L. Dawson Building Auditorium.
The USDA has set aside 2.2 billion dollars to help farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners who experienced discrimination in the USDA farm lending program before 2021. Potential applicants are encouraged to review the USDA Discrimination Financial Assistance Program or call 800-721-0970 between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. for information and free technical assistance.
