Alabama A&M University proudly announces that Christina Lincoln-Moore, a doctoral student in Mathematics Education, will represent the University as a featured panelist at the Doctoral Career Pathways Conference for HBCUs, hosted virtually by Howard University from
March 24-27, 2025. Lincoln-Moore will join the Education Panel on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, where she will share her expertise and experiences navigating career opportunities in mathematics education.

The annual HBCU Doctoral Career Pathways Conference is a collaborative effort between Howard University’s Graduate School and its alumni network, designed to connect current doctoral students and recent graduates with experts across various industries. Panel discussions will cover career trajectories in academia, non-profits, government, biotech, data science, entrepreneurship, consulting, and more.

Lincoln-Moore brings a wealth of experience to the discussion. She has dedicated 27 years to the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) as a Teacher, Mathematics Facilitator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Currently, she serves as STEM Mathematics Unit Lead for the Los Angeles County Office of Education (LACOE), supporting over 2 million students across 79 districts and more than 350 charter schools.

A nationally recognized speaker and advocate, she champions Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in mathematics classrooms.

In addition to her leadership in STEM education, Lincoln-Moore is the co-founder of Black Womxn in Mathematics Education (BWXME), an international collective that uplifts and empowers Black women educators through mentorship, equity-driven projects, and systemic advocacy. Her work has been featured at national and international conferences, shaping the future of mathematics education.

This conference presents an excellent opportunity for Alabama A&M University students, faculty, and alumni to gain valuable insights into diverse career pathways available to doctoral graduates.
