Awaiting the UH-60

To support ROTC Branch Day at Alabama A&M University the U.S. Army Aviation Branch landed a UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter on The Quad on Thursday, September 19.  Branch Day, also held at other colleges around the state, is designed to expose ROTC cadets to the numerous career opportunities in the U.S. Army.

Officers from AAMU’s Department of Public Safety, in addition to ROTC cadets, worked together to provide a safe and secure landing zone, free from any disruptions to the ongoing academic process.

The helicopter departed about 6 p.m.
