Two AAMU students part of Honda's national video recap of collegiate competition

Two of the three students featured in the national video recap of the Honda Campus All Star Challenge (HCASC) competition were Alabama A&M University honor students. VIDEO

The video highlighted HCASC’s 30-year commitment to excellence and engagement at historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs). Of the hundreds of students and dozens of colleges participating in the 2019 HCASC premiere quiz contest, Honda extracted highlights from only three students. Two of the three represented Alabama A&M.

One of the two was Indonesia Jordan, who said the HCASC competition was responsible for her meeting some of her best friends, as well as receiving a strong support system. Through his participation, Aniekan Ruffin received a Honda internship. He is now able to assist other in making meaningful connections that will enrich their collegiate experiences.

Since the start of the competition in 1989, some 150,000 students have participated, while their HBCUs have received over $9 million in grants from Honda.
