Alabama A&M Wins Big at Collegiate Advertising Awards for Second Consecutive Year
The Alabama A&M University Office of Marketing, Communications, and Advancement once again won big at the Collegiate Advertising Awards. The national program created to honor higher education marketing professionals for excellence in advertising and promotion recently announced winners for 2024. For the second year in a row, Alabama A&M brought home multiple wins.
AAMU received Gold Awards in four categories for its group (schools with enrollment of 5,001 – 10,000): Special Video Production for the Magic City Classic Rivalry Week Series; Special Events for its promotional campaign for AAMU Homecoming 2024; Advertising Specialty for its Freshman Class AAMU History T-shirts Campaign; and Logos, Trademarks, and Mascots for the unveiling of the refreshed Standing Bulldog Logo.

The Collegiate Advertising Awards announcement adds to ongoing success for AAMU’s
MCA team. Earlier this year, Alabama A&M won four awards in the international MarCom
Awards.
“These recognitions always serve as a testament to the teamwork and creativity our
team brings to elevating the AAMU brand every day,” said Assistant Vice President
Aaron Thompson. “We are always working to shine a broader light on the great things
happening on The Hill. The national awards reflect that commitment.”
