MCA Announces Date for Annual Gala
Two Decades of Elegance and Fun
Alabama A&M University has announced a new date for its popular gala, according to Dr. Archie Tucker, vice president for marketing, communication and advancement.
The Annual Black Tie Scholarship Gala will be held Friday, April 29, 2022. The Gala is Alabama A&M University’s premier annual fundraising event designed to close the financial gap of students aspiring toward higher education.
The first event was made possible by University officials and members of the Collaborative University Business and Industry Cluster (CUBIC) in 2001 as a way to raise scholarship dollars and to build institutional awareness, while bringing together students, faculty/staff and industry for a common cause.
Now surpassing two decades, the spectacular Gala has raised nearly $2 million dollars since its inception and has impacted the lives of hundreds of students.
