Bulldog Parent University Returns to Support Families During 2026–27 Academic Year

Alabama A&M University will continue its Bulldog Parent University webinar series on Monday, Feb. 23, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Central Time, offering parents and families timely information and tools to support their students’ success on The Hill.

The upcoming session, titled “What’s on Your Mind,” will focus on student safety, mental health, wellness and accessibility resources available on campus. Presenters include Dr. Michael Johnson, director of Health and Counseling, and Kristeen Baker, assistant director, who will discuss mental health services and student support initiatives. Tanisha Smith, director for Accommodations and Accessibility Services and deputy Title IX coordinator for students, will provide an overview of disability services and related resources.

Hosted by the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement with support from departments across the University, Bulldog Parent University is designed as a resource for parents and families, particularly those with first-year students. The webinar series helps families better understand the campus environment and how to effectively support their student while they are enrolled at Alabama A&M.
